ASME SB626 B2 Hastelloy Tubing has excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking. They also have exceptional resistance to hydrochloric acids at all temperatures. Alloy B2 provides resistance to pure sulphuric acid and a number of non-oxidizing acids.

It also has high creep strength which is attained by temperature heat treatment with fine control over carbon, aluminum and titanium content. B2 Hastelloy is used in nuclear plants, petrochemical, shipbuilding, EPC and pipes, and other engineering purposes. They are significantly used in chemical processes, mechanical components in reducing environment.

They are found in various types like seamless, welded, fabricated in the form of round, square, rectangular, hydraulic etc. The standard for these tubes is cut to length and sizes. It has a tensile strength of Psi-1, 10,000, Mpa-760 and yield strength of Psi 51000 Mpa-350 with elongation of 40%.
